What a perfect slice of paradise...My boyfriend and I wanted a relaxing, romantic place to stay for the end of our travels and we had heard great things about Al Natural. We were not disappointed. Our cabin was on the water, and from the bed (or one of the two hammocks on either level of our open-air cabana) I could see only beach, and the waves were all I heard going to sleep. We stayed in the owner's 2-level digs, the nicest cabin there, but big for only two people. At $240 a night, all meals included, we had wonderful food with interesting company as you sit with the other guests. The relaxing vibe of the Gotan Project in the open-air main cabin for meals was awesome, and the staff was very helpful but not overly involved. My one tip would be to bring bug spray, sunscreen, and your own snorkel equipment as what they had there really needed an upgrade and there's nothing on this side of the island but beach and ocean.

This was a real treat and a dinner highlight of our trip. The food was amazing! My boyfriend and I had the corn fritters, the coconut curry fish, and the pork with cornbread. Both were totally out of the park and would not have been out of place at an upscale San Francisco restaurant. Beyond that, the ambiance was lovely. We sat overlooking the water, watching the sunset, and sipping chilled passion fruit daiquiris. A definite must when in Boca!
